We hope training is going well because we’re now just one week out from the Lahinch Half Marathon & 6 Mile! We’re so excited to welcome you to the Clare coast for what promises to be an incredible morning of running, community, and craic.

Here’s your final update with everything you need to know:

Event Snapshot

  • Date: Sunday, 14 September 2025

  • Start Times:

    • Walkers: 8:30 a.m.

    • Half Marathon Runners: 9:00 a.m.

    • 6 Mile: 9:30 a.m.

  • Start/Finish: Liscannor Road Car Park, Lahinch

  • Cut-off Time: 3 hours 30 minutes

  • Entries: Over 1,400 participants entered 🙌

  • Note: Race entries are non-refundable.

Race Number Collection

  • Saturday, 13 September: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Liscannor Road Car Park

  • Sunday, 14 September: 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. at the Start/Finish area

  • Postage Option: If you selected postage, your race pack will arrive this week directly from MyRunResults.

Parking (Arrive Early 🚗)

With 1,400 runners taking part, please allow plenty of time for parking and walking to the start area. Official parking locations are:

Group Warm-Up

At 8:30 a.m. sharp, join Kayleigh from Kayleigh MacCormack Coaching for a fun and energising group warm up in front of the finish line. It’s the perfect way to shake out the legs and settle the nerves before the big start!

Bags, Toilets & Facilities

  • Bag Drop: Free and secure, beside registration.

  • Toilets: Available at the start/finish and at points along the course.

  • Water Stations: Every 3–4 miles / 5–6 km.

Pacers

Pacers will be helping you target: 1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10,

After You Finish

  • Collect your medal & water at the finish.

  • Enjoy tea, coffee & treats with fellow runners.

  • Results & photos will be available online shortly after.
